Our MC

Pesi Mauga, aka Chief Pesi, was born and raised in Western Samoa.  After relocating to Hawaii, he began his career in entertainment before journeying to Florida to perform in the Hawaiian Inn.  Eventually, he landed in Chicago at the infamous Shanghi Lil’s.

Since Chief Pesi arrived in Chicago, his passion and constant motivation has been rooted in sharing the warmth and culture of the islands with the Midwest community.  He keeps his audience surprised by his many talents; singing, dancing, fire knife dancing, ukulele skills.  His charming “Don Ho” personality is comparable to none!
